How and where was the mix recorded?

The mix was recorded in my studio on Ableton.

What was the idea behind the mix?

The idea was to keep it deep, dark, twisted, soulful and groovy.

How do you approach a DJ set compared to performing your own music?

Well a Bit of Both Dj set is a collection of our own music plus music from other artists. We select tracks that we would normally listen to and we mix it with our tracks. When we play Live it’s totally different. There are Live vocals, Live percussion’s, synths, electronics fused with Lights and Visuals.

What was the reaction to your album? how would you defined Bit Of Both sound compare to your individual style

The Album was really successful. People were eagerly waiting to hear what we come out with, In fact it did so well that it went on to most of the charts and hit # 1 on the beatport minimal charts. Our individual style is purely minimal techno as compared to Bit of Both. We do a Live set and a DJ set as Bit of Both. Our music is mix of all genres from Experimental, Deep House, Techno, Minimal etc. and it’s all performed LIVE.

What are you up to next ?

We are looking forward to our Europe tour that starts in June.
