Intention Craft

A collaboration between Evan Marc (techno project of the down-tempo producer Bluetech ) and psychedelic guitar legend Steve Hillage. Kicking off with a slow driven clicky minimal techno groove with underlying dub vibes, the pads and melodies slowly engulf this track to take things into a headspace that's a perfect start or finish of a long journey

Sssssssssssss… that integral verbed noise and static of the dub-techno sound has always been one of the strongest ingredients when it comes to the duo Echospace (Deepchord and Soultek). Celestial is one of their many dubby analog space odysseys in 2007’s seminal album The Coldest Season.

Rhythm & Sound

Basic Channel does a retake of their famous Rhythm & Sound tune. Constructed a most minimal way, the track somehow manages to maintain the reggae vibes of the original. That’s the production magic of Basic Channel, which still holds strong today with its true to dub basslines.

Cassegrain

New Hexagon

Never venture into a Cassegrain track unprepared. The Berlin/Vienna duo known for creating techno war-cries travel out of the warehouse for this track to shows us where the sound of electronics and our tribal instincts meet.

Minilogue ft. Inid Imman

When the roof is low open your heart and the sky will follow

So many great Minilogue tracks to choose from but I had to pick this one for how it stands apart from all their other amazing work. Released on the chill label Aleph Zero Records, this one lies somewhere in an undefined space between techno, trip-hop and electro-acoustic ambient music. A melancholic lullaby for grown ups!
